Best Cities for Opening a Business, According to WalletHub

If you’re considering moving to start a business, you might assume that a big metropolis like Manhattan, Boston or L.A. is the place to be – but according to a recent study by WalletHub, that’s not necessarily the case.

WalletHub looked at 1,268 small cities around the country and used 15 key data metrics including the average growth of business revenue, office-space affordability and the prevalence of investors to assess their relative merits.

Apparently, there are tons of benefits to moving to a small city to start a business:

• Build stronger relationships with the community
• Lower overhead costs
• Potentially less competition
